How to Order Tuff-Poles

Round Tapered Poles
The Catalog listings (see Specifications Manual - PDF) give the "Basic" Catalog Number, based on Pole type, size, height, etc.  For example, AS30 is a 30-foot anchor base S-series round tapered pole. The catalog number (see order logic below) is built in order from left to right, including the dash. To the right of the dash are the options which you can specify, in the order listed.  Most available options are listed in the catalog template.  See Specifications Manual (PDF) introductory section.  Call for all other options.

To decide which pole you need, first consider your application: anchor base or direct burial (We recommend direct burial for cost efficiency and ease of installation), round or square, regular or breakaway, and the method of luminaire attachment - type of tenon, pole caps, etc.

Using your required mounting height, wind speed, and the total EPA (Effective Projected Area) and weight of all intended attachments, select a pole with loading ratings that meets your needs.
