Load them up!
Heavy Loads are NO Problem.  Load them up!  Tuff-Poles will meet or exceed your loading specifications with minimal deflection, even in high winds.  Pole dimensions are engineered by factoring in the weight, EPA (effective projected area) of the lighting fixtures and the wind loading requirements of the installation site.

Wind loading for all Shakespeare Composite Structures poles is calculated in accordance with the AASHTO Standard Specification for Structural Supports for Highway Signs, Luminaires and Traffic Signals, most current edition.

Tenons are aluminum or hot dipped galvanized steel for secure attachment of luminaires and tenon-type brackets.  Cast aluminum pole caps are standard for side mount installations where tenons are not required.		 Tenon

Anchor Base Bolt Covers

High grade cast aluminum, for a finished look at the poles' base.  Anchor bolts, nuts, and washers are supplied with poles. Additional sets, as well as kits of mounting hardware, are available for arms, brackets, etc.
